Do you mean: Visual Studio C++ redistributable?

You need what your software needs to run.

32-bit if the software is 32-bit

64-bit if the software is 64-bit

Version must also match.

it says Visual C++ redistributable.

Do i need various versions of it like 2005, 2008, 2010, etc. and also do i need different versions of the same year.

I have these versions of Visual C++.

Do I need all of them? Do I need both a x64 and a x86 version?

You don't need them, but a lot of software use different versions of it. I just install everything from 2005 to 2013, 32 and 64-bit, just in case.
