Windows to USB help

I followed the NCIX video about creating a bootable USB drive, got the ISO got the downloading tool, and then I couldn't find the ISO.

Please help.

what do you mean by you couldn't find it? through the tool?

The Tool asks for the ISO and all you can do is browse for the file and I can't find it. The one in the video is in the documents section, and it even directs you to there when you browse, but its not there.

just do a search for it

"*.iso" in windows search

well looks like you were mistaken then

and you didn't download it

or deleted it

what version of windows are you trying to download

I attempted to download windows 8.1. When I went back to the ISO download it says that there are 2 options. Put the ISO on a USb drive, or keep it for a disc. If it was already put on the USB do I even need the downloader?

 

(I am currently running 8.1)

you probably want the iso with a SHA1 of a8b5df0b0816280ae18017bc4b119c77b6c6eb79

what you do is

download the iso

then use RUFUS to burn it to a usb stick

Thanks for the help, but I believe I might just get a disc if this does'nt work. No big deal.

All i do is open the iso and copy the files to a flash drive

step 1: get power ISO its free

 

step 2: download a 8.1 pro iso from the pirate bay.

 

step 3: open power iso and go to Tools/make bootable usb

 

step 4: select the finished downloaded 8.1 iso and hit OK

 

step 5: take a shit or watch some porn for 30 min as it does its thing

 

step 6: take usb and plug in to new pc and boot from usb. 

 

step 7: install windows 8 and enjoy
