UI have just installed Windows 7 Professional 64bit on my pc, and I am trying to install the audio drivers for my motherboard. My motherboard is a MSI Z97-G43 and I have downloaded the latest audio driver from their website. When I run the install everything is normal, but towards the end a error appears 'Install Realtek HD Audio Driver Failure !! [Error Code: 0x000000FF]'. Soon after a 'Driver Installation Module has stopped working' error appears.

I then tried installing the driver manually in device manager. When I do this it says "Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device" "The extended attributes are inconsistent". After this I tried installing a driver using the automatic method in device manager, but the same problem occurs.

Windows shows that a basic driver is installed but I cannot use it, there is no option in playback devices. I really need this problem resolving so I can use speakers with my pc.

Please Help!
