Hey,

I have a flash drive, contains all of my father's backups, ever. (Over 2TB)

He wants me to somehow scan the entire disk, and put all the photos in one folder - Photos.

Guidlines:

- Duplicate filter: by scan, threre are 180K photos (since 1998), and many of them are duplicates. delete them.

- Name filter: He had a lot of cameras, so there are a few photos called "CAM_1.JPG" (for example), but they are different. it needs to add both, but say like "CAM_1.1JPG" and "CAM_1.2;JPG"

Do you know a way to do this?

Thanks in advance,

Amit

(The goal is to get all the photos in one place, and by compressing them I can have a 10GB file saved in the cloud, and not the entire backup which includes software files and unrelated things)

I tried this.

Unfortunatly, as I said the drive is over 2TB, containing about 10GB of photos, so it looks for every duplicate in the drive, which there are alot and not only photos.

It can remove duplicates, but it cannot group all the files to a single folder.

I know my request is a huge edge case, just wanted to try and see if there is anything like this and I just dont know how to google :P

Thanks anyway
