I would like to purchase a new gaming headset. I have an EarForce X12 for my Xbox, should I just use that or get one of these as a dedicated pc gaming headset?

Also, any other recommendations would be appreciated. I don't really need a built-in mic, as I plan on getting a Yeti, so.....

If you're planning on getting a standalone mic then people will recommend that you go for headphones that don't include a crappy mic at all.

The Internet is the first thing that humanity has built that humanity doesn't understand, the largest experiment in anarchy that we have ever had.

I'd say go with the first one. Great bang for buck, and you won't be dissapointed. They have a great comfort level and sound awesome in games.

Although I will always agree with you, about headphones + mic, OP listed some of the best "gaming headsets" that are available. That said, HD 558 is better lol :)
