Upgrading Old HP?

I have a 5-6 year old HP desktop computer bought from Future Shop I believe and I would like to throw a GPU in it just to get rid of the bottleneck the integrated one gives me. I'm not in a position to build a whole new computer right now sadly :/

My question is: do I need a new PSU to put even a 20-30 watt TDP video card in there? I believe my power supply is 218W max, but I have no idea if HP builds them to be totally maxed out or if they leave some extra headroom. ;o

Here are some screenshots from Speccy of my PC

Graphics:  http://gyazo.com/3c2f4eec481217c6b54b786cbe8a8b3b

An example of the type of GPU I'd want is this:  http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-02gp32619kr

I am willing to go lower than that but you get the idea. I just want something that will be better than my "G-Mod 20 FPS on lowest settings" integrated chip ~

Also if that card I picked wouldn't be compatible, please let me know xD

218watt PSU? you need a new PSU. There are GPUs that use that much alone. Do you have anymore money for the GPU? even the 610 will not be a massive improvement, 750ti is a decent value GPU, check it out. I am sure there will also be another GPU on team red for the price.

also may i add HP's Dell's Lenovo's and that tend to have really cheapo PSU's. so i would get a new PSU anyway.

I really don't remember, is there a place to check?

I would check the case to see if there are any little stickers with model numbers on them. My desktop has a couple near the top on the side with the non removable panel.

If you look at your shot of the motherboard details it looks like you need a new PSU anyways.

Your 12v rail is dipping down to under 9v and your 3.3v rail is sitting at 2.2v. Thats danger zone right there.

And yeah GT 610 isn't a big improvement. Aim for a 750 Ti or R9 270.

The New Machine: Intel 11700K / Strix Z590-A WIFI II / Patriot Viper Steel 4400MHz 2x8GB / Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC w/ Bykski WB / x4 1TB SSDs (x2 M.2, x2 2.5) / Corsair 5000D Airflow White / EVGA G6 1000W / Custom Loop CPU & GPU

The Rainbow X58: i7 975 Extreme Edition @4.2GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58, 6x2GB Mushkin Redline DDR3-1600 @2000MHz, SP 256GB Gen3 M.2 w/ Sabrent M.2 to PCI-E, Inno3D GTX 580 x2 SLI w/ Heatkiller waterblocks, Custom loop in NZXT Phantom White, Corsair XR7 360 rad hanging off the rear end, 360 slim rad up top. RGB everywhere.

Alright, well that probably means I can't do any upgrading unless I want to spend 100+$ on a 5 fps boost xD

Thanks anyway guys ~
