Quadro 6000 is equal to?

brownninja97

My client wants to upgrade to kepler quadro cards for five pcs. Anyways he just wants the kepler features and that performance isnt the biggest worry. My guess was the quadro k4000 but i just wanted to confirm. A k6000 is out of the question as its way too expensive.

Maybe not worth paying the price for K6000? K4000/5000 or Firepro cards

on the internet personal details are nebulous. for example, he could have told you he was a 16 year old boy when in reality he's a 63-year-old crackwhore looking for clientele.

or something.

Its my uncle, ive built a ton of pcs and repaired a big number of them. He knows so he wants me to deal with choosing what graphics card to upgrade with. I will admit a lot of it had to do with luck but i am 16 and well its not amazing.

would only use a Quadro series card for 3d rendering, otherwise ur just wasting cash

for making a game, u want a gaming graphics card and workstation cpu setup, the only reason why u would want a quadro is for 3d rendering like cinimatics and doing CAD stuff.

Games use Shell models so there is less to compute over CAD which use solid models and need to calculate density.

the only time outside of CAD a quadro is useful for is Simulating stuff like advanced hair, physics and really detailed lighting in cycles.

a high end gaming card will do just fine for shell modelling and games stuff, but the CPU setup on a workstation is a good idea for light rendering as most game engines dont use the GPU for that

They are all 3930x systems but maybe i should recommend a gtx titan or a 780. I have no idea about that sector.

780 all the way. Preforms so close to a titan that it is the better choice. Dont go for the amazingly hot stock cooler. Go for a gigabyte windforce or msi twin forzer or any card that has dual fan cooling.

Ghost just turned 18 and he's the water cooling master.  He wrote those guides at age 17.  There's a few kids here that can rival me in pure hardware knowledge and they are almost half my age (I am 23).  You'd be surprised, I've always known alot but never rly built PC's myself until about a year ago, since I've build/modded/upgraded over 80.
