i'll put something together for you but youre going to need a better monitor

if youre buying a 980 ti, you need a 144 hertz, 1ms monitor with gsync preferably

get windows on reddit for 30 bucks

get 120gb ssd instead for the os and save some money. get a hdd with higher storage

you will need a better cooler if you want to overclock

If your going to make me a list try and stay as close to the budget as possible!

you absolutely need that monitor that i suggested at a minimum. do not get anything unless it has:

144 hertz, 1ms, gsync enabled

Even though I've put this together for you, please do your research on all the products i've suggested on your own. I'm confident it's a good build, but you never know.

the good thing about the zotac 980 ti amp extreme is that it comes factory oc so you don't have to fuck with it out of the box. although you could if you know how. i could easily oc that sucker
