oh and she also adds that her MAC says no internet connection

which i found weird if she's not connected how can she open Facebook, Google and dutch sites?

also she can open youtube now but not other sites

im kinda thinking that shes got some kinda bad software on the mac messing with her network settings

unfortunatly on a mac..the best thing she can do is back up her data and reinstall the os...she would probably want a newer one as well...10.10

I could probbaly fix it on teamviewer...but trying to walk someone through how to do it on the forum is basically impossible

so basically we can't do anything?

well unless she feels like installing teamviewer on the mac

id say her best bet is to find a techie guy at collage there...get on his good side..and see if he can figure out why its not working

he could even get some direct help here if hes a techie...we can give him some basic ideas on what to check on the pc

trying to explain that stuff to people who aren't technical is very hard
