i am looking to buy a new laptop.

i am want a i5 or i7, 16 gb ram, 15 inch, and if possible a desent videocard.

my budget is 1000 us

It's hard to find laptops with those specs at that price point

The only real way is to either get a Y50 or wait for a sick deal to come out (happens very rarely)

Question:

Do you really need a laptop or build a pc instead?

What will you play on this?

Lenovo Y50 but 16gb is a more expensive option, if it's even available in your country but you can always upgrade that yourself.

thanks guys,

i have a desktop for gaming at home.

the laptop is for school, i am starting a ICT education and need a i5 or i7 , 8gb and the option for 16 is fine to so i can upgrade it myself to 16GB,

the videocard is not for heavy, intense gaming. i dont need the best settings and things like that. some light gaming is fine. something like payday 2 is fine.
