router problem!

i am going through some internet problems!

 

whenever i switch on the internet , the led lights lit upto the wifi light only! not after that!!( an arrow mark ith a semi circle and the next one which is the lan)( globe kind of sign)

 

and then sometimes it just repairs itself! what's wrong with it? can u guys help me please?

a guy had came to my house to repair it, he said that there's some problem going on in the capital city regarding the internet so maybe there's some  problem in the internet! what should i do??
