Trying to extend internet ( small boost )

I'm trying to extend my bt home hub 5's range by about 5-10 m in all directions wondering what was the best was do that, as a new router seems like a waste for such a small distance. But i would also like some helpful tips on how to set up a new hot spot and what to buy if that's the best way forward.

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

there are range extenders, these are the best thing to use. Usually priced around $30. Alternatively you can just change the channel your wireless router operates on.

If the "bt home hub 5" uses an external antenna(s) you could replace it with one with a stronger dB rating. you would be looking for an omni directional wifi antenna. other wise you need some other device, either a router, an AP, or a range extender.
