Phanton 410/ H100

Go to solution Solved by Haggis_,

I dont think you will have any overheating problem. Besides the best setup for temperature you will also have to consider noice and dust.

I would make noctua and H100 exausts (H100 configure as pull, better when cleaning)

The other 3 coirsair as intakes.

Then the harder work with noice and dust beginns.

For noice you must turn down the rpm on the fans. Some motherbords have tools for that, some cases can turn down the Volt to 7v or 5v making the fans slower. Otherwise you have a low noice adapter with your NF-F12 fan. The best is a automatic controller changing the speed on the fans depending on the temperature on the cpu and motherboard. (can be done with some motherboards)

Then it comes to dust. Either you clean it more often or you make the intake air volyme bigger or the same as the exaust. (and have filters on the intakes)

It is easy to make the computer cold. It is easy to make the computer silent. It is easy to make the computer dustfree.

The problem is to make it cold, silent and dustfree at the same time.

Exaust is better. You want to get the hot air out of the case, not in. I would also change the side to an intake.

Then you have 3 intake and 3 exaust, moving the air from down/front to back/up.

It is hard to say wats best without knowing exactly how you system looks like, but 3 in 3 out should be good

Thanks for the great help haggis. The nice thing about my  phantom is that the intakes are filtered and the noise of the fans are so minimal I would have to put my  ear right beside it to hear. I just needed the help with configuring it for the best temps.
