Hey guys, so when my Corsair M45 packs it in, don't get me wrong its a fantastic mouse but I want a more comfortable shape. Anyway I had a go with the MX master today.

Its a nice feeling mouse and fits the hand amazingly. Anyway, I was tbiking of buying this mouse. At $120 its not cheap, so I really want to consider this before I buy one. I will be gaming (not seriously) and doing other general stuff and Photoshop. Now, I was wondering does it charge via a lead going to the computer?

If so couldn't I use it with the lead all the time? Doesn't really matter just wondering. So talking gaming, are wireless mouses really that bad? Will this be a bad investment, should I just get another m45 if my current one breaks?

Yes you can use mice like the mx master with the charger 24/7, it just won't be great for the battery. As for being wireless (in terms of latency), from my experience it's not noticeable. I have a friend who uses the g700s for cs:go comps with no problems.

I think the mx master is a safe investment, being logitech's flagship mouse for professionals (workstation not gaming), so while it carries a hefty price tag it also comes with the features you'd expect like a great warranty.

A good wireless mouse should be OK for somewhat casual gaming. As for the mouse itself, I haven't used one irl, but it's Logitech, and on top of that, it's an expensive Logitech mouse. Should be awesome. I can't guarantee it will be worth the $120, though it will be a great mouse.

I can, however, recommend Zowie (maybe an FK2). Or perhaps Func? They made a big mouse with a thumb, ring finger, and pinkie finger rest, if I remember correctly :P

Looking at the setup manual on Logitechs website, it does use a micro USB charging cable.

I got the performance Mx so very similar, and I have been waiting to get a new mouse for forever, get a razor death adder, or another Logitech gaming mouse, the Mxs are just too overpriced for not that many features, if you're doing photoshop, you may want to spend a little bit less money and get a Logitech wireless gaming with like 8 macro buttons on it.
