I seem to have hit a wall in my overclocking.

Running an Intel skulltrail board, and two x5470s

I got all the way to 4.12GHZ @ 1.4625v(probably can be lowered) with a BCLK of 412MHZ (333 stock)

I cant for the life of me get this thing to even 4.15GHZ even at 1.5V cpu, and 2.0V ram and all other voltages raised a bit

Is there any tricks to getting it to go farther? I've messed with the ram clock ratio, that doesnt help, Is this board new enough to have the PCI-e clock tied to the BCLK?

I've seen people get them farther in a modded 775 board.

woah woah woah please tell me you're not putting that voltage through a haswell..

nope, through some 7 year old xeons, I have some other cpus laying around that will fit it too, so even if I kill one, I'll be out like 60 bucks and thats it...

I am just shooting for some ridiculous performance

Even if he was, so what? It's not just going to fall out of his socket and explode :P

I tried 1.55v, still didnt help, Tried all the things.

One thing I am noticing is my bus speed is really unstable ranging from 410.38 to 410.65 (should be 411.0MHz)

Whats up with that?

that will be the limit of the north bridge on your board. the D5400XS tops out at around that if you look on hwbot.

So theres no way to make it go farther?

4.11GHz is still good I guess...

nope. not with those cpu's on that board. if you got a single socket P45 you could take them higher or if you got C2Q extremes you could go higher by overclocking with the mutli as well as base clock.
