PSU? Case?

How do these contribute to framerate/quality settings?

Nothing but psu is very important for the PC not blowing up, case not so much.

I suspect you didn't fully read the OP's question...again.  :P

Without a PSU [Power Supply] none of these components will function. You can go without a case but you will have everything out in the open and thats not always safe. I suggest you use pcpartpicker to create your build or find popular builds on the internet. CultOfMush has some great builds.

It was a rhetorical question.

Also i was wondering if i should upgrade ram from 8GB to 16GB.

For just gaming no, you will only need 8 gigs. No game uses anymore than 8. But if you plan on doing some big video editing then 16 should defiantly be considered.

Seems like I'm the only one who gave you the benefit of the doubt. :P

I saw that on so many forums but, what if i have google chrome and skype open ? Right now google chrome is using 1 GB of ram it alone... And i use Skype to talk with my friends that's why i was wondering if 8 GB won't be enough.

Edit : i haven't bought the graphic card yet so i wanna know if a 980 will be worth.

I dont think google chrome should use 1 gig of ram... It uses next to nothing on my laptop.
