280x Discontinued?

I disappeared from technology a bit and now I am back, and while I am looking at www.pcpartpicker.com only 5 280xs's have prices listed, were they discontinued due to the 300 series?

280x, which was originally the 7970 is end of life. GCN 1.0 is too old to keep afloat. I would expect a 380X by the end of the year, based on Tonga XT.
