clone harddrive

hey guys my old harddrive is dying, and i have a second pc with an other 1 tb harddrive in. how can i delete all data on my second pc harddrive so that i can put it in my main pc and clone my main drive to the new add drive from my second pc it need to be a full clone with every thing i have on my pc including windows.

both harddrives is 1 tb and i am using 500gb of it so the new deive will have enough space. 

hope that you understand my quistion i really need help becurse my main pc harddrive is dying and i do not want to lose my data and windows licence.

the licence is tied to the mobo,  so what you would need to do is reformat the spare HDD and the look for a free cloning tool online
