I'm trying to understand how the Nvidia control panel works :P Am I right in thinking:

  • If you change a setting in the global settings but not for a program then the global settings will override the program settings for that application?
  • If you change a setting in the global settings but also change a setting for the program, the program settings will override the global settings for that application?
  • If you leave the global settings untouched but change the program settings then the program settings will override the global settings for that application?

In context:

  • If I enable Vsync in the global settings and leave the program settings as is, then Vsync will be enabled, right?
  • If I enable vsync in the global settings and then enable adaptive vsync  in the program settings for that application, adaptive Vsync will take effect?
  • If I leave global settings untouched, and change a program setting, the program setting will override any of the global settings?

I'm confused. :P :P :P

I don't like 2D games...I just couldn't get into them.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
