2 Different GPU's in one system?

So this is more for folding at home, but its more tailored for the GPU side of things. Mod if you want you can move it, but I suggest leaving it here. 

 

So i just received a GTX 580, and I want to add it in co existing to my 980. How would I do that? I don't want SLI, I know that wont work, but for CUDA and all that stuff, Is it possible?

 

More specifically, I want to fold on it more than anything.

At most it would be a physX card. That's about it.

Absolutely. 

So I stuck it in (Wow) and everytime I fold, It fails. Will be digging to make it work but any help would be appreciated.

Make sure your GTX 980 is the primary card: top PCIe lane on most motherboards.

After some digging I found a helpful thing. Will be trying that.
