Corsair c70 Side intake

Go to solution Solved by mgsstar,

I currently have a side intake on my C70 and to me it isn't blowing in alot of dust even though its not filtered but you could always get a SIlverstone air filter if you have a dusty place/want less dust entering like @Samdb said.

Hi guys,

So I am going to get some 140mm fans to put on the window of my case, but the only thing that worries me is that, there's not many 140mm fans, mains one I know is the Corsair AF 140 and the fact there is no fan filter, will dust be an issue? as there will be positive airflow.

It will be eventually, but even if you have a dust filter it would be a problem. Just get some compressed air and clean your chassis every 6 months and you'll be fine

Ok thanks for the quick reply, I will go unfiltered and clean it now and again and get a filter if it becomes a problem.

Thanks everyone.
