I'd trade the kraken for corsair or something. I've built with one and compared to my corsair it's just cheap feeling.

+ Corsair's legendary Warranty if your AIO was to break. I'd never use anything other than a Corsair AIO (and the h105 is my personal favourite :) )

NZXT CLCs are better.

lol k. You've used both ? The kraken is not well made at all. It performs great sure but build quality is abysmal

It actually depends on the OEM, not the brand itself.

And who cares if Corsair's CLCs are gold plated? Most of them still die like flies.

Make the hard drive a Caviar Black, they're great hard drives.. i use one myself. Also try add in a SSD for your OS & a few games.

I'm not a huge fan of Gigabyte motherboards either, you should go for something from Asus or MSI, myself i use an ASRock but thats becuase i cant afford anything else at the moment...

I wouldn't bother with the Kingston beast ram if it's costing you more... you get the same performance from a 1600 cl9 ram kit as a cl11 / 12 2400 kit.

Get the cheapest 1600 (or if there is no difference in higher kits) that suits your build if your bothered by looks that you can.

Other than that, all looks good. if your on 1080 the 980ti is way overkill

Enjoy, solid build otherwise.

I don'T PreSS caPs.. I juST Hit THe keYboARd so HarD iT CriTs :P

I can speak directly about the x41 it felt light weight and cheap. It rattles a little on the housing and the mounting seemed like it was a one and done system. I'll stick with my corsair all day

Caviar Black or WD Black Series? Caviar Blue is slightly slower speeds and is good for storage. And you may not be a fan of Gigabyte mobos but that doesn't mean they are bad. Gigabyte, Asus, and MSI are at the top with Mobos so giving information based off something you don't like is pretty shallow.
