Computer not detecting graphics card

I have recently had trouble with my 660 TI, I put my computer in sleep went away for 30 minutes came back and for some reason it is not displaying anymore. So I pulled out my old 620 GT tried putting it in, and I can get to the logging in screen but after that it doesn't display anymore. I try to install drivers but it doesn't detect my GPU, I am using integrated graphics at the moment. This computer was a pre-built HP computer found here ->http://goo.gl/nZxB9G Any help would be appreciated.

Hi , have you tried going in to your bios and changing your onboard to disable and enabling the Pci express option so it detects your gpu

I have not, but I don't understand how that would of changed in the first place. Also why does it display all the way up until It goes to my desktop?

i have both pci and onboard enabled , is your display plugged into your graphics card and not onboard

Yes when I put the GPU in my DVI was plugged into it, however when I turned my PC on earlier this morning I had to remove my GPU because neither that or the on board graphics where displaying anything.

best option would be to disable the onboard in the bios and see if it auto picks up the gpu mate , other that that its beyond me

Do you know why when I have my GPU in and try to install drivers that it doesn't detect the card?

Might be because you have onboard enabled , try disabling it it might help
