Problems with my 970

Go to solution Solved by blackadder,

Drop clock back to stock. Did you update drivers? Make sure igpu is disabled and power settings are correct.

I recently built myself a PC with (Evga GTX 970 acx 2.0 sc). And I still get bad fps in most games. I can't get the GPU clock speed apove 135MHZ. Whenever I try to make it go higher it goes to 900MHZ then back to 135!

Can somebody help me fix this problem?!

My gaming specs:-

Processor: Intel i5 4440

Ram: 8 Gb Hyper X

HD : 1 TB

GPU: EVGA GTX 970 acx 2.0 sc

MB : Gigabyte H97-D3H

PSU: Corsair CX750M
