Need help clearing the cmos

So I disabled CSM in my bios (don't ask why) and saved and exited. Now it won't post. My question is, How long do I need to hold the the clear Cmos button for the clear the cmos on my GA-Z77X-UD5H WB rev 1.1???? Thanks for any help!!!!

Some motherboards come equipped with 2 pins that you short while powered down. Eg. Msi 970 boards. So if it's a button just click.

 

But do I hold it for 5 seconds, or 10 seconds?

If you still have the motherboard manual consult that, but i don't think you have to hold it.

 

A bit of a noob question now but. Since the board is dual bios and I clear the cmos of one bios, will it also clear the cmos of the other bios too? And about the manual bit, I checked and found nothing on how long to hold down the button for.

The other BIOS normally has default settings anyway, even if it does keep a copy of your settings they get copied over after a good boot so in your case it won't matter.

just take the button battery out and put it back in.
