I heard that on the h100i the pump fails, so can you recommend me another water cooler that is as powerfull as the h100i in the price range of £100($153)...

Is the thermaltake water 2.0/30. as powerful and less likely to fail...

You don't need to keep copying and pasting the line. Just type it once and we'll read it.

I'd get a NZXT Kraken x60 instead if you can.

Photoshop,Adobe Premier Pro, Pinnacle Studio

Windows Word,Microsoft Powerpoint.

Photoshop and Premiere Pro can both utilize OpenCL and Pinnacle Studio doesn't use cuda for acceleration.

It'd be more cost efficient to get a 7950/7970 instead of a 780.

Edit: Btw, why do you specifically want water cooling? Why not air?

I am not too sure, its just that for my first ever build, i just want water cooling+ they are more quiet that air coolers.

Also, I don't think that air coolers can provide the amount of cooling power, can they?

The NH-D14 beats some AIO coolers and rivals others while being nearly silent.

You might not like the colors while I don't mind at all. They don't call it the "King of Air Coolers" for nothing.

Fyi, I have one myself. Tip: Don't drop it on your toe.

Not really. Skip to about 1:30 if you really want to see.

So does the 7950/7970 uses both cuda and OpenCL?

Which graphics card do you think i should get 7950 or 7970?

Only Nvidia cards use cuda cores. Luckily, you don't need them so you can get AMD cards that perform better for their price.

The 7950/7970 uses OpenCL.

It depends on what you're doing but 2 7950's in crossfire would be very powerful for rendering while a single 7970 would be able to max out most games at 1080p while leaving another slot for upgrades.

Whether you need more rendering power is up to you. How intensive is your work?

No the7950 & 7970 do not use cuda but does use opencl also it depends on your preference but your doing more for the work I would have to suggest 7970 which can be used for gaming

Not that intensive, so one 7970 card would be enough. So would i need to get a 1080p monitor, rather than this monitor Asus PA279Q

If you want to game at 1440p, get a 780.

For 1080p, a 7970 will max out nearly every game.

can you recommend me a good 1080p monitor...

How's this look? http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1laWK

I recommend 2 displays since it's very helpful towards productivity--especially video editing as well as spreadsheets and documents.

Also is the 7970 or the 7970 gigahertz edition better for me?

Not really. You could just overclock your gpu--which you should be doing regardless of what card you get.

Check out Msi afterburner if you haven't already. It's a simple to use and handy tool.

On the $2000 build by linus, he said that if you have a 180gb ssd , you can then use 60gb of it as cache. Could you please tell me what performance improvements I could have and if i should do it...

Thanks....

With the cache, it stores the files you access often onto the ssd for faster access.

It's not much more for a 250GB ssd: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/samsung-internal-hard-drive-mz7td250bw

Get it if you think you are a speed freak. I've thought about it myself but it's just faster to put what you want to run quickly on the ssd instead of using a cache.

It's overkill for a single gpu build but I set up the system to be ready to add in a second 7970 without changing anything. It's fine for when you get the second 7970.

A 600w would do.

In that case, you don't even need a sli/crossfire ready motherboard: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1lbff

Can you please find me a 7970 which is cheap but with some good reviews as the the xfx, i don't think is good.

The xfx double d 7970 has a lifetime warranty. It is good.

AS I suggested I think that you would be fine with the Asus PA279Q for work or gaming which can be  multi monitor configuration  also I would like to suggest a dell ultra sharp U2913WM 29'
