When Windows 10 comes out I plan to do a fresh install of it. So other than needing a iso and bootable usb, do I need anything else? Also do I use the product key I have for windows 8.1 pro?

It's the same as any other windows install, so yeah iso and usb.

I don't know about the key though, might get a new key for 10.

Yes. Once you’ve upgraded to Windows 10 using the free upgrade offer, you will be able to reinstall, including a clean install, on the same device. You won’t need to purchase Windows 10 or go back to your prior version of Windows and upgrade again.

You’ll also be able to create your own installation media like a USB drive or DVD, and use that to upgrade your device or reinstall after you’ve upgraded.

I thought if we had 7 and up we could get 10 for free. Really hope I don't need to buy another key..

That does me no good for a fresh install, only upgrade.

No you do get the upgrade, though I'm unsure whether we use our old key or get a new one generated.

Also read my previous post with the edit :)
