Hello all,

I have two hard drives that I use for work. I would like to make it so that when any creation or modification is made on one of the hard drives, the creation or modification is replicated on the backup hard drive. For example, if I alter a .doc file, the corresponding .doc file on the secondary hard drive is updated with the new information. If I create a new .doc file, a carbon copy is made on the secondary hard drive.

Please advise :)

maybe you can try automatic backup, Automatic backup is the alias of schedule backup, it's an additional function which attached to Backup option. That is to say, automatic backup is the feature that allows you to set a schedule to back up system, disk or partition. After setting a backup time, the program will do backup at the given time automatically and regularly.

Is there no real time alternative? So that when I make a change to a particular segment of drive G it makes that exact change to drive F?

You can use File History in Windows 8 and 10

However, you can't pick folders to backup. It can backup Documents, Pictures, Videos, etc. folders. You can't say: "Backup D:\My Project\", which sucks. It was requested features in Windows 10 user feedback, but has little to no votes, probably because no one knows about this features.

I tried Microsoft Synctoy. If it had worked, then that would've been a great solution. Perhaps you could try it out, and see if it works for you.
