OSX is really great for work. You get lots of useful programs out of the box and, if you can get it to work, it's free ;)

A lot of my work requires me to be in OSX. Since I bought a Mac a few years back I actually much prefer the OS, although Windows is definitely getting better now. I've started doing Hackintoshes to keep costs down
