I think this is pretty interesting guys,, although I find it kind of unrealistic to see a good brand 4K android device RIGHT NOW, maybe in the future who knows,,,,  ^_^

Currently it's more for video out.

I'm sure the new dongle they just released supports 4k out. So youtube videos, internet, pictures, and anything else that gets added later on will all output at a 4k resolution.

Pictures, internet, videos at 4k is the main use currently.

Yeah it's for HDMI out only for now and probably will be so for a few years. I believe some SOCs like Tegra 4 already support 4K out, at least on hardware level, although I wouldn't be surprised if the manufacturers added in support on their devices just like they did with BT 4.0. Still it's nice to see it integrated into vanilla.

But how could it be for HDMI out if it only supports 1080p unless theyr are planning on implement a proprietary connector or dvi or DP

HDMI supports 24 or 30fps 4k as of 1.4b. And once 2.0 comes out it should support 60fps 4k. 2.0 should be released within a few months unless it gets pushed back again.
