How do I disable apps?

How can I disable apps without deleting them?

 

I just received my first phone a Oneplus One with cyanogen mod.

I'm a total newb.

i don't think all apps support it. Just a few if not only built in ones.

It asks me to return google services to factory settings, the only other option is cancel. So I cant disable without reseting the app.

CPU: Ryzen 5500 GPU: RX 6800 RAM: DDR4 3200MHZ 48GB (2x8+2x16 GB)  MOBO: MSI B450-A PRO Display: 4k120hz with freesync premium.
