Can You Re-Install Windows 8.1?

The PC im getting fairly soon only has a HDD, if i install windows 8.1 on the HDD, and get SSD later, can i re-install windows 8.1 on the SSD by using the disk and optical drive again?

yes as long as you have the same hardware at the time that you try and reinstalling it such as your motherboard

just make sure that you keep track of the activation code that will be usefull

sorry for delay, power issues...  so the only thing i would have differently would be the SSD.  so i guess i would delete windows from the HDD, reboot the pc, and do the same thing for windows but this time put it on the SSD, right?
