Best mid tower for a custom loop?

Go to solution Solved by X_Rated_Box,

Hey :D welcome to the forums

The s340 would be neat but it is pretty small and it was relatively hard for me to put an AIO in there so it wouldnt be the best for WC but have you thought about the Define series by Fractal Design it is perfect for watercooling (especially the Define S)

But i dont know if it is too big for you:D

(question what monitor do you use it looks dope!):D

Hello!

I have been interested in doing a custom water loop for quite some time now,

However I have always loved somewhat smaller cases. (My current case is the Corsair Air 240)

I am willing to get a slightly larger (mid tower) to allow for an easier time doing my first water loop as I think I would struggle too much attempting to do one in a mATX form factor.

I have seen the S340 which looks like it might be smallish but also have a good amount of space for a loop.

I will most likely be building using parts from my current PC (https://au.pcpartpicker.com/b/f2TH99) and eventually adding in a second 970 in SLI.

I'd also quite like a side window, and nothing too "gamer" looking I guess, something minimal and stylish is probably more what im looking for.

Any good tips or advice for this magical case I am in search of?

:D

Hey thanks for the warm welcome and advice!

Yeah I do know the Fractal Define cases, they are really nice, might look into them some more :)

I have a BenQ VZ2350HM 23" IPS monitor and love it, the only somewhat issue with it was when it was advertised they had the picture right to the bezel instead of about 10mm of black line around the edges.

The S340 is small but it has terrible rad support. I'd get the H440 or Define S/R4/R5

Just did further research into the Define S and I think I am sold!
Seems to be exactly the type of case I was looking for, thanks! :)

Okay, front for 240mm but that's about it. I can't believe they only did a single in the top..
