LG G3: Should I Install A Custom ROM?

Root

As it stands right now, the LG G3 and G4 won't be receiving the Android 5.1 or 5.1.1 update anytime soon, so should I install a custom ROM to get the benefits of Android 5.1.1? I've rooted my LG G3 before but almost screwed up when trying to install a new ROM, however the guide I was using wasn't to helpful. Also, if I install a custom ROM, what one should I use? Should I use CM 12.1 or CloudyG3 (which is based off of LG G3 Stock 5.0.X)?

I have Blisspop on my G3 and runs like a dream. Sad part though is the camera is pretty crappy, but I don't take pics often anyways.

Pictures/videos is what I like to take on my phone, so having a good camera app is important to me.

I can't really think of anything but CM honestly that's probably the only thing I ever flash since it's really clean and fast imo, just try to find a really stable build of it unless you want to keep flashing repeatedly.

CM will solve some quibbles with the stock LG ROM, but one thing CM doesn't play well with is with the G3's OIS.

Because CM doesn't play well with OIS and doesn't have LG's processing software, photos will look a little worse on it but not to a large degree.

Before I give you my guide, what version of the LG G3 do you have? Meaning what carrier is it branded for?
