rack mount non rack mountable stuff?

Can you rack mount non rack mountable things with Stuff you can attach?

Like a receiver?

Just get a rack shelf and pop it in there then either just stick things on it or mount them to it somehow.

If it's the correct width (19 inch wide) then that one looks pretty sturdy, you'd probably want to go with the vented one as its cheaper. (Or if you have a deeper rack you could go with the 22" deep one instead of the 15" deep one)

Just thinking about migrating all my stuff to a rack in the closet to give more space.

You could go mad and 3D print stuff with the proper mounts.  Afterwards, just mount those items on a wall mounted pole :)
