Considering switching from crossfire to single GPU, what would you choose?

All options cost approx $1000 AUD for me...

Edit: just like to add I'm gaming at 5760x1080 so 6MP, halfway between QHD and UHD. Try vote based on what you would choose at this res...probs doesn't make a diff but yeah :) THANKS

A single GPU of the same performance of two lesser cards is always the better option. Some games have problems scaling with SLI/XFire, especially configs more than two cards.

1440p - Fury x = 980Ti

4k - 390X crossfire < 980Ti

I'm having trouble deciding between a Fury x and a 980Ti for 1440p myself. But for 4k it's not really a question, avoid crossfire and avoid 3.5gb/4gb frame buffer and go for the 980Ti.

Motherboard: Asus X570-E
CPU: 3900x 4.3GHZ

Memory: G.skill Trident GTZR 3200mhz cl14

GPU: AMD RX 570

SSD1: Corsair MP510 1TB

SSD2: Samsung MX500 500GB

PSU: Corsair AX860i Platinum
