Get a new D5 top for it and use normal fittings?

get a cup of hot/boiling water hold the tubing end in for about a min then get a pair of needle nose pliers and gently from the inside of  the tube open them to stretch the tubing out then wiggle/push it over the barb on the pump top . it will be extremely tight , if you need to remove it you probably will have to use a razor blade to cut the part that's on the barb since you may not be able to remove it . if you don't want to stretch the tubing over the barb then get aftermarket top ek/bitspowers are common

I am using this top http://www.performance-pcs.com/alphacool-hf-d5-top-black-acetal-g1-4-vpp655-tpp644-mcp655-v-2.html for my Variable D5 (which is identical too the pump you have)

 

It looks pretty nice and lets you use any standard fittings.

 

Also if your in the US I can check too see if my original top was the 3/8 or 1/2 and if its the smaller on I can send it to you.

Some tubing won't play nicely with that trick and will end up leaking or cracking.

Yeah, I am in the us, california.

If the tubing doesent work, Ill look into it
