5760x1080p Low Framerate

Hey guys,

 

Ive been running Nvidia surround for a year or so now and my GTX 970 G1 cars (2 in sli)  Have been performing rather low.  Im talking Battlefield4 at like 40 fps - 30 fps on high.  Even games like warthunder that run like a champ even at 4k on my machine.  GTA5 is easy to run at 4k but on surround I have to set things to medium and such.  What do you think Im looking at here?  Is the dreaded 3.5GB of VRAM Killing me?(I doubt it because 4k does fine)  If anything Ill live with it and just lower the settings and live with medium graphics 60fps.

hmmmm 4K is more pixels than 3x 1080p...

It's 75% as difficult to run as 4K. What are your framerates at 4K in those games, for comparison?

4k at about 60-70fps (No AA but still Ultra BF4)  Nvidia Surround is at about 40-50 fps with AA Off as well. (Im double checking to see what might be happening GPU wise as well as temps)

you would see that in nvidia configuration under managing 3d settings

and i have the also two 970 so i will look in the fps while playing triple monitor

allright so i got two 970 sli (overclocked) and i got on a resolution of 3620x2036 with about 95% usage a framerate of 45-60 (with v-sync on) with everything cranked up to the max (accept msa) and my vram is about 3650 a card. this is while playing gta5 (the performance hit with  the 3500mb max is not as bad as everyone is claiming)

 

3620x2036=7370320

1920x1080x3=6220800

so i should get 60fps with your monitor setup
