Hello everyone.

I am Dr. SIdharth S. Das.
I had the following system configuration :

Intel Core i7-4960X Extreme Edition 3.6GHz 6-Core Processor (4.5Ghz overclocked)
Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Asus Rampage IV Black Edition EATX LGA2011 Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws Z Series 64GB (8 x 8GB) DDR3-2133 Memory (F3-2133C9Q2-64GZH)
OCZ RevoDrive 350 Series 480GB PCI-E Solid State Drive
2 x Samsung 840 EVO 1TB 2.5" Solid State Drive
2 Western Digital BLACK SERIES 4TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
2 x EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Superclocked ACX Video Card (2-Way SLI)
Cooler Master Storm Trooper ATX Full Tower Case
Corsair 1200W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Asus BW-16D1HT Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer
Microsoft Windows 8.1 Professional 64 Bit

CPUZ and BIOS show 64GB ram in all 8 slots.
On the other hand task manager and system show only 48 gb with slots 3 & 4 empty.
Moreover the RAMs are running are mere 1600Mhz instead of 2133Mhz

Due to the problem I had gone in for a new Mobo : P9X79E-WS.
And surprise: It still has the same problem.
Slots B1 &  B2 are not working and show SPD shows DRAM error.
I exchanged the DIMMs but the same error continues.
When booting with DIMMs in B1 & B2 , i get a QCODE error of 53 " Memory Initialisation error : Invalid memory type or incompatibel memory speed"
When booting with DIMMs in B1 & D1, it POSTs but B! shows DRAM error with 8GB of 16GB available.

Please help.

Regards

Did you make sure that the paired modules are the EXACT SAME model? Some modules from a year after (despite the same model) can be incompatable with each other.

have you tried booting it with ram in ONLY the two derping slots?

Slots B1 & B2 are the slots showing error.

When booting with DIMMs in B1 & B2 , i get a QCODE error of 53 " Memory Initialisation error : Invalid memory type or incompatibel memory speed"

Any further suggestions??? I am out of ideas....

You've tried booting with just 1 DIMM and with each DIMM each time in the same slot?

Un-fortunately it sounds like either 2 of your DIMMS are faulty or 2 slots are and more likely the later, you could try getting some canned air and making sure there is no dust or anything in the slots causing the issue?

Either two modules are busted (unless you used one stick at a time in a slot you know works)

Or you've done something to the CPU. You said you bought another motherboard and it has the same problem? Have you chipped the CPU, damaged a trace or something like that?

It's not a race to the bottom.

This has to be it. Do you have an alternate CPU to test with?

I had a wierd problem a while ago, my gpu was apparently uncompatible with the bios of my mobo or something liked that.

Updating the bios (flashing it) solved the problem. If you have the most recent one, try flashing to an older one.

Edit : I know it isn't the same problem, but maybe this could fix it anyway ?

None of the DIMMs are faulty. If the same DIMMs are used in other slot, they show up fine.

CPU chipping seems to be odd since i removed the CPU only when changing mobos.

On the Rampage 4 Black Edition, i had all 64gbs showing. But the after reinstalling the system , i noticed that 16gbs are gone. Then when i couldnt figure out a way, i went to change the mobo which is the only time i removed the CPU.

Nope. No extra cpus... :-(
