Overclocking memory worth it?

so i am satisfied with my pc ofc, but is it worth it to overclock my memory past it's rated speed? i have a dual channel 8GB kit of G Skill Ripjaws X @1600 Mhz. If i am to overclock i would set it somewhere between 1866-2400 mhz

Unless you have a Kaveri APU (Ax-7xxx) or CPU (Athlon 860K) which loves high speed RAM, not worth at all.

1600Mhz will be fine unless if you use the integrated video(if applicable). Memory OC's don't benefit much unless if your ram is 1333Mhz or below, but they can make your system super unstable if the RAM cant handle it.
