if 2 GTX 760s in sli use 750 watts and my power supply is only a 750 watt psu. would that work?

No of course not ur i5 uses 150 watts as well.

 

EDIT: a 760 uses 330 watts TOPS so it would be cutting it VERY VERY close.

Furmark can make one draw 330 take that times two + the cpu etc, no way he can run on 750 watts, i5 uses 150 watts full load before overclock.

It doesent matter if hes bronze or platinum at full load for stress testing the 760s will draw 330 each, i5 overclocked will draw 200 tops more on top of anything else plugged in so a 750 watt PSU will not cut it.

170*2 = 340w -> 410w for the rest of the system?

 

(do NOT use these calculations in any decent scenario as they are a tad off from reality most likely)
