Stuttering in csgo

Hi!

 

I noticed some occasional stuttering while playing deathmatch. Fraps was showing pretty much constant 60 fps but it didn't feel like it, it wasn't 60fps smooth. I don't get this when playing with bots

 

What to do?

Sure it's not just lag, as a result of poor network perfmance? Would explain why you don't have the issue when playing with bots.

Reinstall CS? What settings do you run the game at (although it probably doesnt matter with 280X)

If you are playing 128 tick deathmatch 60 fps is not enough. also make sure you have good rates set. standard ones are awful. Easy way to do is downloading some pro players config.

Location: Kaunas, Lithuania, Europe, Earth, Solar System, Local Interstellar Cloud, Local Bubble, Gould Belt, Orion Arm, Milky Way, Milky Way subgroup, Local Group, Virgo Supercluster, Laniakea, Pisces–Cetus Supercluster Complex, Observable universe, Universe.

Also locking to 60 fps does not provide any advantage, it just introduces input lag. fps_max 300 or 0 is the way to go. Vsync is a complete killer, you can't win a single awp duel if you have vsync on.
