I am currently running a socket 1366 i7 920 overclocked to 3.6GHz with 6 gigs ddr3 1600.  I am also running a 560ti.  I game a bit, mostly starcraft 2 add a few others.  But i do a good bit of media encoding with handbrake and was wondering if stepping up to a 4760k would yield any benefits to my encoding times or would the lack of hyperthreading make it worse.

Thanks

The 4670K would be a nice upgrade.

As @Godlygamer23 said, a i5 4670K would be a fair significant upgrade, however you would need a new motherboard.
