stop fans <10%

Would it be safe to stop the fans from spinning while my 970 is using under 10% of its power?

meh try it. We have no way to check vrm temps afaik. Might work might not.

Should be fine, as long as you are able to set a fan curve that low. The fans should ramp up if it gets too warm with them off, and from my experience with the vrm temps are fine at low loads even without a heatsink

the MSI and Asus one's come like that the fans on my MSI 970 dont turn on till 60C i think
