Gtx 970 Help

Ok simple question I have an asus strix gtx970 n wanna go sli. Can I add an asus turbo gtx 970? I want my second card to be a reference for better cooling.

Reference for better cooling? wat

 

I'd just get another strix just to play it safe.

Trust me on this, you don't want to mix match card like this.

I would get another Strix unless  you don't care for overclocking cause your gonna lose that :(

*What i mean is the faster card will run like the slowest one*

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

Yea I guess "I meant in case cooling not the cars itself" my gpu never gets past 35c as it is "I only do 1080"

 

how would a reference be better case cooling?

 

And with more demanding games those temps are gonna go up even at 1080 on high/ultra settings
