I downloaded the latest version of GeForce experience and game drivers for the new release of Batman, when I found that GeForce Experience no longer supports my GeForce GTX 580. RIP GeForce Experience. Can anyone tell why they did this? I always had game optimization in the past until now.

Support eventually dies out? Kinda sucks as it's not exactly a slow card.

I know. Kind of lame considering the fact that I could do it in the past. It's not like they're no longer supporting the card with drivers, just removing a feature that I had previously. I feel like this is Nvidia's way of pushing consumers torwards their newer line of products, and I can't blame them. They're better, plus they have shadowplay. Glorious shadowplay.

To be fair, the only thing this "optimization" does is change some ingame settings... That you can change yourself ._.

This is true, but it does give people an easier way of changing settings. It also allows you to immedietly apply the most optimal settings for games which I enjoyed. It's just a feature that didn't need to be removed.

It's just stupid that they removed the feature completely for 500 series owners. They DID test some older games on those cards, so people should still be able to use those presets.

I can see why they don't want to keep on testing new games on those old cards, but disabling the feature in its entirety is just stupid.

500 is not GTX 500

The Geforce 500 series includes the 550Ti to the 590. Your card is part of the 500 series like it says above.

Odd that they would cut it like that. Have others experienced this issue or just you? I can't seem to find anyone else from a quick google. Have you tried reinstalling geforce experience? I can't imagine that Nvidia would do that. Makes no sense from a business stand point.
