Dead PC!

I have an older PC I use at work just to order parts online. It was left on all night and when I came in this morning it looks like it froze on the screen saver and would not do anything. Hard powered down, power on and it sounds like its starting normally but get no display from either VGA on mobo or VGA on graphics card. Tried 2 monitors too. 

 

Sound like mobo or CPU? I assume its not hard drive or ram as I dont get even HP bios screen and monitors just go to standby

 

Its just a junker PC so I dont care but kind of curious how to even test this

The good old remove GPU and all buy 1 stick of ram and test.

GPU was removed, still nothing. Battery R@R, still nothing. I actually have some DDR2 laying around so will try that

just tried ram. Still nothing. Same exact ram. Even same brand. Meh, at least it has a decent cooler I can salvage
