I have adblock, so obviously I don't get ads on anything, but just recently I have started getting these weird pop up things that say "ads by anti adblock" and I'm 99% sure it's a virus. I have microsoft security essentials and when I do a scan, it says my PC is fine. So does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can fix this?

When I google things it does this:

And sometimes it will pop up with a white screen that says "Ads by anti adblock" but I can't seem to replicate that right now.

EDIT:

It did it just as I posted this:

Thanks!

Try Malwarebytes

Malwarebytes identified a few threats, and deleted them, but none of which seemed to fix the problem.

However, I went into my Chrome extensions after and found that there was one that I never downloaded, or at least know about downloading.

I've had this happen before where a Chrome extension would just appear, I'd delete it and it would come back. So when this problem with these "Anti adblock" things started coming up I continuously checked my extensions but there were only the ones I wanted.

So how can I stop these extensions from just coming up randomly despite being deleted?

Try resetting your chrome settings. It'll delete everything. So backup your files.
