I need help fast

Go to solution Solved by PaulK,

All I can think at this point is:

1. corupted system file (maybe explorer.exe) You can use sfc /scannow from command promp with elevated privileges click on start -> type cmd -> right click on cmd and click on run as administrator

2. corupted registry You can try an restore registry from a previous version backup

3. corupted user account. Restart your computer in Safe mode and login with administrator account and see if the problem persists. If the folders show up in main window create another user account and see if after restart (normal mode) this problem is solved.

Try no 3 first

PS - did you notice that there's no clomun header? It should be there if you select to view details...

When I try to access my folders on my PC i can't see them. I open System disk C:/ and I can't see any folders but on the side i can expand the disk and I can see every folder. Can you please help me fix this issue. I use Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. 450W Power Supply. Checked all the cables in my PC and the disk management and its all good.

Quick solution for you mate :-)

Download and install Total Commander. If your folders are not hidden you should see them right away on both panels. If you do not see any folders go to configuration -> options  and under display click on show hidden files and show system files. Everyting that has is hidden and / or system attribute will have a red exclamation mark.

Good luck and sorry for english mistakes :-)
