i3-4170 haswell refresh

It clearly says on my box that it was an i3-4170 and not a 4360.

 

Weird, but oh well you got a free upgrade :P

 

where did you buy it from

I bought it in a nearby computer store. I also remember seeing the heatsink of the cpu. It also says i3 4170. Very weird indeed.

 

Hmm was the box all sealed and everything?

 

How much cache is it showing? the only difference between the two is the amount of cache, 3M vs 4M

4360 also has HD4600 graphics

What version of CPU-Z? Some older versions report wrong. My G3258 was reported as a G3240 until Version 1.70.
